i just finished reading tuesdays with morrie.

ohmy..its such a good book.
kept me in tears and tugged at my heart in so many diff ways.

i just wrote a whole chunk in my own written diary.so i won't elaborate here.
but i strongly recommend everyone to read it.
it talks abt life's greatest lessons
and it left me feeling that life is such a vast and beautiful thing
that there's so many things for me to learn each day i wake up
and as i grow.

im happy to be who i am now.

it taught me the importance of friends
and the theory of detachment.

heres how it works.
you allow yourself to dive in and feel
let yourself fully experience what tht emotion brings to you
be it hurt, pain, grief, love or happiness.
allow it to prenetrate you
then you learn to move on and experience a whole new emotion.
this way u maximize your learning
stretch it to the very limit
and you go through exactly what life has prepared for you
even if it hurts, you're still learning. you're still experiencing.
see the beauty of it?
thats what life is about.
all these experiences..

"Life is a series of pulls back and forth. You want to do one thing, but you are bound to do something else. Something hurts you, yet you know it shouldn't. You take certain things for granted, even when you know you should never take anything for granted.
A tension of opposites, like a pull on a rubberband. and most of us live somewhere in the middle."
Sounds like a wrestling match, i say.
"A wrestling match." He laughs. " Yes, you could describe life that way."
So which side wins, i ask?
"Which side wins?"
He smiles at me, the crinkled eyes, the crooked teeth.
"Love wins. Love always wins."

for me, i guess that was the most inspiring part in the book.

all of a sudden, i can't wait to live (:

in the end i only managed to meet fi.
but yea had a talk with over over ljs..

haha then D came and brought us to the funfair.
he kept complaning tht he felt like our dad!
which was true cos he spent like..50 bucks on us?
and i tried so hard to win this pink color fish but i cldnt! :(
boohoo i need a guy who can play funfair games well.
any takers? :D
in e end i just to had settle for some dumb SMALL toy -sulks-

hmm then fi left.
D and i and just wandered ard.
haha we wantd to sit this carnival ride but in e end we both chickend out.
lol ive seen the chicken cowardly side of him! --grinns--
so we decided to go try archery instead.
OMG ARCHERY'S SO FRIGGIN COOL!
i managed to hit the bullseye five out of 7 tries!
NOT BAD EH -grins proudly and raises arms in victory-
D was saying i cld kill men tht way.
LOL.
i wldnt mind. interesting and cool way of killing (:

AHH AM, I JUST FOUND A NEW WAY TO KILL JIAN! :D

then i headed dwn to tcc to meet yen.
for more therapy sessions.
lol.
tht silly girl..so troubled over smth like tht.
aye trust her man..
oh wells hope u feel better now woman.

ok thts it im qt wet cos i got caught in e rain.
gonna shower nw!
