I was just reading throught this particular GP essay
and i happened to find a line tht got me into fits of laughter.
"For example, they think that the monkey is waving goodbye to them,
but from the monkey's perspective, it must wave its arms if it does not want to go hungry."

hahahhaha ok I'm nt saying this is bad (the essay got like,30 marks) bt its damn funny!
hahaha fancy picturing the monkey WAVING GOODBYE?
like ok haha theres alot of other funny stuff tht Im too lazy to say!
gives me a totally new idea on how to write GP essays nw lol.

And the highlight of today came when i reached home
to find a pink envelope addressed to me waiting on my living room table.
Upon looking at the envelope, I realize its a card from dearest valencia tjitra.
At first i thought it was the picture tht she's owed me for a few mnths.
Then i see the card. The cover has this black and white picture of this really sweet little girl with a pink ribbon in her hair and striking some dance pose. (her back is to us)
and the front says

"Remember when you were a kid.. and wanted to grow up and become smth special?"

then I flip open the card and it says " you did! Happy birthday"

I think I almost cried when I saw that.
Its just really really sweet to know that your friend thinks you're someone special,
even though there's been so many times I find myself questioning my existence in this world and how I frequently lament the loss of my childhood dreams. This card served to let me know that although I might not have fulfiled all those fantastical roles I had hoped for myself when I was little, to her, I'm still special for being me.

And then to make it worst, I look to the side and i see this really nice message!
Apparently dearest valen saw this card and it totally reminded her of me so she bought it!
and she acc made it a point to note that my birthday falls on a wednesday.
Ironically, this line was what made me start crying like nuts.
"I love you alot bitch! do enjoy yourself much much much k!"
Ok call me crazy or overly sentimental or whtever but im a sucker for such proclamations of love., however "insulting" it may sound.Maybe I dont show it but it means alot to me.

valencia tjitra, if you think Ive forgotten you, you must be way mad.
I might seem busy at times, but tht doesnt mean tht ur memory is any less faded.
its as vibrant as ever can be, and who can ever forget tht bubbly laughter of yours, tht laughter tht for a period of time in AJ made me so happy i forgot about being sad totally. Talk about t forgetting you? How about never. Although you're like, half a month early in sending the card, but it makes me smile cos just like last year, you're half a month early AND once again the first to wish me happy birthday (:

I love you to bits and pieces, cookies and cream.
Wed the 19th just won't be the same without you,
I just want you to know that.
