hello stranger

and as the days slip past slowly,
that's what everyone seems to become.
the once so familiar faces, the voices that once rang out and brought much laughter.
they've all been reduced to a state of unfamiliarity,
all the sounds made simply noise.

you know, i never felt that stretch of distance that lay btwn us before.
it never felt that far apart, until now.

I'm sorry if im unable to listen to stuff happening in other peoples lives now.
I apologize but right at this moment, I just cant get my spirits right to do so.
I never mean to turn my back, but sometimes the best I can do is just walk away before I say something i might regret.
