This is a little outdated but still.

Three nights ago, I looked up at the sky and i saw a scattering of stars.
They weren't all that many, but enough to make the sky look like a piece of dark velvet with diamonds sparkling in its midst.
And as I stared up at that sky, I did the only thing I could think of doing.
One last attempt in the hopes of redeeming all that I lost.

I closed my eyes, and wished fervently with all my heart.
Then, I sent my wish out to the stars in the hope that maybe they would catch it
and that they would rewrite my destiny.

Maybe, just maybe, my wish will come true.
It never hurts to believe right (:

there's always one reason
to feel not good enough
and it's hard at the end of the day
I need some distraction
oh beautiful release
memory seeps from my veins
let me be empty and weightless
and maybeI'll find some peace tonight
